The Emergency Wing of KIMS offers 24-hour support by all specialties. The department handles a wide range of Acute Medical and Surgical Emergencies, Polytrauma and Paediatric cases. The Institute offers the service of its Advanced Life Support / ICU Ambulances with a team of medical and para-medical staff to other hospitals as well. KIMS runs regular Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training program based on the techniques perfected by the American Heart Association.

| Pharmacy |
KIMS offers round the clock pharmacy services and is well stocked with FDA approved drugs of high quality, major life saving drugs and antidotes. The strategically located IP pharmacy, based on the Herman Miller Model, directly distributes medicines to the in-patients and counsels patients at the time of discharge.

| The department offers round the clock services and is supervised by a team of highly qualified radiologists, who provide excellent service, with the support of technologically advanced equipment for MRI scans, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT and X-ray. Early cancer of the breast is easily detected by the Breast Clinic with the support of our highly advanced Mammography unit. The MRI scanner of 1.5 Tesla at KIMS is capable of whole body scanning and can generate highly sensitive images. |
